Hillbilly Report from H. B. Sam -
LOCAL RESPONDERS CALLED TO A WRECK OR WUZ THEY?
Late Tuesday evenin one of our local Far departments got them a call to the report of a car in the ditch with a man hanging out the window. That aint a lot unusual in these here parts, but the thang wuz he wuddin kin to nobody round here and he wasnt even a Yankee. Dispatchers were not sure if there had been an actual motor vehicle collision or not. According to a source on the scene the local ambulance dispatch center was under the impression the man was possibly deceased (DOA / DEAD) - you know TOAST/ Kicked the bucket ect...).

As responders arrived on scene they found the fella lying outside his car and acting like he done found Uncle Edwards special secret backwoods whiskey still. Other words he was given proof he was possibly full of 90 proof! The boy was actin intoxicated. He did not appear to be seriously injured. His actions, speech, and breath gave good indication he was intoxicated (drunk/ to toasted to toot!). However a possible medical problem could not be ruled out.
It didnt take long before the mans actions and speech began to make the case against him. He kept putting his hands on the our fire gals and stuff and tryin to caress everbody he could get his hands on. Seemed like some of the lonely gals didnt mind so much, but some of the fellas took offense when he started tellin them how much he loved them and how sexy they looked. I spect he mighta got a tad bit nervous when the local deputies showed up. He got a little filthy mouthed, but folks got him shut up quick. Finally they all got the fella packaged up and in the ambulance.

The mystery of what actually happened had some missin pieces to the puzzle. There was no alcohol containers or snort jugs in the vehicle he was drivin! The car wasnt damaged just stuck. It appeared he just got stuck. He was from over 70 sumthin' miles away from here. But why and how did the fella get so drunk between here and Louisiana with no liquor on him, just in him! Hmmmm?
Then all of a sudden a lady in nothin but a house coat appeared next to one of the responders asking about the car.

You could take an uneducated guess and probably be riot as to her being intoxicated her ownself. Then it was indicated by her that this was their best friends car! Yelp, it was her and some other fellas best friend. The other fella now appeared on an ATV with nothin but a short pair of shorts on and what appeared to be an automatic weapon on the seat next to him. Yelp this second fella appeared to have the same symptoms of this real helpful lady and the original fella what possibly had the wreck what he possibly didn't actually have. The lady went on explaining how they had just met this guy several hours earlier and how they had been havin' a good socializin' and stuff. Then he just all of a sudden left and didnt even tell no body good bye. She made sure she helped her new best friend all she could by telling the story to every law man she could.

In the process, the law emptied the ATV fellas gun. He got the lady to get back on the ATV and quit helping their new best friend so much. They drove off into the darkness some where and the far fighters went back to the station. The ambulance I think, took the original fella to a hospital some where. And the law Im sure finally figured out what to do in this unique situation. As the man never made it out onto a public road and no wreck actually ever happened.
Just another day in good ole Mississippi!
This here has been Hillbilly Sam Reportin!
