Yelp we was looin' in some fish tanks at the big ole catfish and dreamin' and droolin' about the biggest fish fry ever in Mechanicsburg, Mississippi. Then all of a sudden, here come this purdy lil ole gal justa swimmin' away. I took pictores cause I knowed you folks wouldn't believe it! I aint seen no mermaids since my navy days, while we was winnin' the cold war under president Ronald Reagan. Then they was at the stingray pet tank.
The fella said we could pet the sting-rays, but not the sharks, nor the mermaids! Well we didn't find us a bear, but mermaids in my own opinion look better anyhow and they smell better too!
Anyhow, we seen some other sights and all and now it's time for that long journey home. So yall take care and besafe and we'll holler back later! Yall have a great day and God Bless You Cuz!
Today's Scripture:
1 John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Today's Scripture:
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Yelp! Anuther edition of the Hillbilly Vacation has done begun!
We packed up Grandad's Brand New 1971 pick-up and heaed for the other hills. Up to the great Smoky Mountains! We had a great trip, with a few delays, but you know we know's how to entertain ourselves. We may have instille a little fear in some of our fella traffic jam folks who couldn't go no where. But we got Uncle Pete to quit shootin' the shotgun in the air from the back of the truck and I think folks settled down some. Of course I aint so shore about them two sissy actin' fellas who was moving from North Carolina back to San Fransisco. When they fount out we was from Mississippi and armed they drove that yugo they was in straight up a hill, that I know Cousin' Jay couldn't climb on a skidder. And that's sayin' sumthin'! Anyhow, we made it through the heavy rain and the construction zones and we got settled in at the Smokey Mountains. We up cookin' some eggs, gritts and bacon and sittin' on the balcony of the hotel and enjoyin' the view! Yall have a great day and God Bless You Cuz!
Today's Scripture:

I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. 14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

The Central Yazoo Water Association is issuing a Boil-Water Alert for customers who receive their drinking water from their water supply located in Yazoo County. This affects approximately 21 customers on Anding Oil City Road and Bill Walker Road. Water system officials notified the Mississippi State Department of Health of a pressure loss due to one or more line breaks. When a distribution system loses pressure, contaminants can siphon back into the water. Public health officials consider any system that loses pressure contaminated until tests prove otherwise. Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed. The water system will be notified when tests show that the water is safe to drink.
Today's Scripture:
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

We had yet another great night at FBC Louise, Mississippi Wednesday 5/9/12! As usual the youngin's did a great job singin' al-co-poco as I call it. they sang the Old rugged Cross... Then we had various others sing for us.
Then Bro. Glenn Warrington brought the message from Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
And John 14:1212 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Then we shared the story below - From Baptist Press:

Shore hope you and yore's is having a Super-deli-whoppin-good day today!
I guess we can't complain much in these here parts. But I do have to say the Good Lord gave me a beautiful show this morning. It was in super 3-D and what do they call that 360* surround picture. As I crossed the Tinsley Crick down on Hwy 3 the sun was getting above the hills to my right. It was peaking in and out of some lingering clouds... there was a touch of fog in the valley area... the sunlight was making the green crops just stand out like a spot light on a dark night. Then with all this going on a light shower began to fall and to my left behind the green fields was a backdrop of dark rain clouds from dark gray to light gray to white, along with the rain bands.... the to top it all off as if the Good Lord himself said I aint through cuz! Several doves were around and here and there and and a rainbow curving out of the clouds to the ground to a pot of gold some where. We serve an awesome God and some times he just likes to show out for us! I wanted so bad to take a picture of it all, but I felt, that was God's special gift to me today! Thank You Jesus!

She had surgery to fix this back when she was a teenager, but now the condition has started causing some problems for her again. According to the doctors, surgery is not an option as it is a 98% chance she would not survive it. And the condition itself can eventually kill her. So let's lift her and her family up in prayers. In addition to all this, her husband had to go out of country for a few months to work, leaving her and the kids there and the kids are not taking it to well.
May you continue to have a great day!

So they traveling to Senatobia, Mississippi to hopefully regain theor momentum and win two games and extend the post season. Whis is a remarkable feat for these gals as it is. Coach Andrews along with his assisatnt caoch Bright have brought these gals a long way! Go Lady Panthers.
The Panther Boys Baseball Team was on the road to Laffayette yesterday. They came up short in game one of their best of three series. Here is Coach Corbin Ellis in his own words: “ Our guys handled themselves like true gentlemen today. Every stop We made people complimented me on what a great group of kids We have. My reply.... Yeah I know! They played hard...no errors...hit the ball good... Laffayette was just better than us today. I am really proud to call these guys my team. They fought to the end and never gave up!”
We looking for some great baseball at Yazoo County High School today. Scheduled game time is 1:00 PM... Tyler George is scheduled to start in the first game... with a Panther win, game two will start shortly afterwards... Goooo Pantherrrsss!
The Lady Panthers of Yazoo County hosted Kosciusko on their field for Fast Pitch Softball and the Boy’s Baseball Team was hosting Cleveland on their field and all on Friday the 13th!
The girls played a Jr. Varsity & Varsity game against a tough Whippet Team. The Whippets won the JV game easily as coach Andrews worked out some of his young pitchers, who will one day play a big role in the Panthers Softball Program.
The Varsity Gals came to play in their game with Hurricane Catrina on the mound... The Panthers scored first in the bottom of the 2nd inning taking a 1 - 0 lead. The Whippts would score 2 in the 3rd and the Panthers would add one the next three innings to hold a 3 - 2 headed into the 5th inning. Then Catrina’s arm started hurting and she was pulled in the top of the 5th inning. The Whippets would give no mercy as they added 9 unanswered points to the score. Kosciusko would win this non-conference game 11 - 3. The Lady Panthers host Germantown Monday eveing - 5:00 PM for a conference game that will help decide the Lady Panthers post season future this year.
The Panther Baseball Boys hosted division rival Cleveland Wildcats on the other field. With the win the Panthers had a chance to share first place in the division with Cleveland. However, the Panthers have a division double header today that they have to win to keep post-season hopes alive. The Coaches took a conservative approach, and saved some of their normal starting pitchers for today. The Wildcats took the win 10 - 0 to more than likely clinch the division and a first round bye. The Panthers host Idianola Gentry today at Panther Field game time 1:00 PM.
We’ll know more about the Panthers playoff picture later in the week!
So come on out and support our Panthers!!!! Gooooo Pantherrrsss!
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
